This fundraising campaign helps prepare homebound seniors for hurricane season. When storms hit Houston, Meals on Wheels deliveries can't reach seniors who depend on them for food. Operation Impact delivers shelf-stable meals to over 3,500 seniors before hurricane season starts. These emergency meals help seniors stay fed when regular deliveries can't get through flooded roads or power outages. The campaign needs donations to buy and deliver these special meals to the most vulnerable seniors in Houston and Galveston areas.
