Regional Broadband Initiative

H-GAC is working to bring high-speed internet to all communities in the Houston-Galveston area. They study where internet access is lacking, help communities get funding to build better internet, and train workers for broadband jobs. The initiative includes research reports, workforce training grants, and helping areas qualify for federal broadband funding. Their goal is to make sure everyone has access to affordable, reliable internet for work, healthcare, education, and staying connected with family.
